NAPA News - Week 5, Term 2, 2024

Another epic week has ended, and another begins! Term 2 is certainly keeping us on our toes. Firstly, a big thank you to all those who read our newsletter as it is our main source of weekly info, so we appreciate you all for taking the time to read it.

OUR FIRST GROUP COMP FOR 2024

WOW! Our Performance Teams had their first group comp for 2024 and it was AMAZING! Not only did the teams all walk away with brilliant results, but the comments and feedback from the judges was heart-warming.  From mentions of our excellent training, to the creativity of our choreographers, and of course the talent of the children. We are feeling so darn proud! A massive thanks goes out to all the parents who helped out, along with our NAPA Graduate Charli, and of course our amazing staff - Miss Mandy, Miss Suzanne and Miss Bella. We so appreciate your time and passion given to the NAPA Cherubs! Finally, to our choreographers. Your work is so brilliant, and our kids are so lucky to be able to dance these pieces. They all did you proud!

CONGRATULATIONS SOLOISTS!

Our soloists also competed at Evolution Brisbane this past week with amazing results! Shout out to Evie L'Orange, Estella Coburn, Courtney Sutherland who all took out highest scoring soloists in their age group, and to Sienna Coulson who placed in the top 3! Fantastic work cherubs!

UNIFORM REMINDERS

Don’t forget that orders for our Winter uniform range are due by this Friday. We also still have some orders in reception from our last order of Activated Industry. Please ensure these have been picked up.

PERFORMANCE TEAM CONCERT

Our Concert tickets sold out in record time! Luckily, I had reserved some seats for the teachers which I could release to the parents who missed out, but if you have any spare tickets, please post in the PT Facebook page, and let our families who missed out know.

WELCOME EBONY REEVES

We are so excited to welcome Ebony Reeves to our Vocal faculty. If you are interested in private singing lessons please email kim@napa.com.au to book a time.

Along with years of piano and vocal teaching experience, Ebony has worked across the radio, film and performing arts industries in Australia, UK and USA, including as a performer, music director, conductor, and more. A few of her credits include Ghost the Musical, The Sound of Music, Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Ebony specialises in classical and musical theatre singing styles and has completed AMEB piano and music theory exams. She is passionate about helping students set and achieve short- and long-term goals, including developing singing technique, sight-reading, composing, learning basic piano skills, and preparing for auditions.
